Finding Common Ground

So we have learned that having two boys less than two years apart is quite challenging. Having a two year old that doesn’t know how to share is very difficult. It doesn’t help that Eli just follows Jackson around like crazy trying to take toys away that Jackson is playing with. It is hard to establish where you teach Jackson to share and where you stop Eli from taking the toys.

I know it bothers Jackson because the other night in his sleep he yelled out, “NO ELI!! Stop it! Mommy take him away!!” I was laughing so hard. He was dead asleep. Yesterday however, while I was cleaning the kitchen, I realized it had gotten very quiet. I found the boys playing in Jackson’s room pulling all of the books off of the shelf. They were having a grand time. They continue to do this together all the time now. A lot of cleaning up, however, I am just so happy that they are getting along!
