Thankful for Nursery
As I was getting dinner on the table for the boys tonight, out of nowhere Jackson starts singing “Follow the Prophet” I didn’t even know he knew that song or the words. I do know that he does singing time in Nursery on Sundays. I asked him if that is where he learned the song, and he enthusiastically said yes. I am thankful for nursery classes and leaders who take the time to teach my 3 year old these types of song and teach him to feel the spirit. He even knew that our Prophet was President Hinckley. What a sweet spirit.
Yesterday Paul had a lady from Lehi buy out his contract on his cell phone as he is getting the new IPhone. Jackson had a Dr. appointment to have his tubes checked and Paul was taking him to the Dr. this time. As he left with Jackson, the lady buying the phone was still here and turned to me and said “How do you get your husband to do things like that? Mine absolutely won’t. I think that is incredibly admirable.” As she said that, I thought how lucky I am to have married a wonderful man who is as involved with his kids and wife as he can be. I proudly told her that he does things like that all the time. He even volunteers. Thanks for being a wonderful father and husband honey! I love you!
