Sweet Jackson
Tihs past Saturday I took Jackson to a friends son’s baptism. Jackson really adores this kid and I thought it would be a good experience for him. He really enjoyed sitting at the front and watching Jake get baptized, and after he was confirmed, Jackson leaned over to me and told me his heart was happy! I was also able to teach him about the Holy Ghost, and told me he can’t wait to be baptized. Later that night after Paul put him to bed, Paul told me that Jackson was plugging his nose, and closing his eyes in bed that night, and he told Paul he was practicing for when he got baptized! What a special spirit Jackson is. He started Sunbeams in church yesterday, and absolutely loves it. We were a little worried about no snacks and toys, but he thinks it is pretty cool to be a big kid. Eli also went to nursery for the first time, for the WHOLE 2 hours without a problem!! Paul and I were ecstatic. I would say Paul and I are having a really good New Year so far!
I also took Jackson on Saturday to see Enchanted. He loved it. He thought the dragon at the end was more funny than scary. It is fun that he is getting bigger and that we can do fun “dates” like this now.
