Eli’s Baby
Yesterday, Eli discovered a baby doll at my neighbor’s house, and started carrying it around everywhere. My neighbor told me that her daughter never plays with this doll and that we could borrow it. Good thing, because Eli is in love with this baby. After we brought her home, he made me change her “pooper” and put a diaper on, we also had to wipe her nose, and give her a bath. Eli loves to carry her around holding her and patting her back. He also like to wrap her up in his favorite blanket and put her to “night night”. He even gives her kisses on her head. He has Paul and I carry her around and put her in “night night”. He even has her sleeping at the end of his bed with him. It is the CUTEST thing ever to watch. Now I know that a little boy carrying a doll around isn’t the most masculine thing in the world but I love seeing this cute nuturing side to my son. If he wants to take care of a “baby” for a while we sure plan to let him. I have a feeling he is going to be a really good big brother someday.
