Preschool

So Jackson started “4 year old school” as he calls it. He started a new school this year, one that is a little closer to home. There are two kids from our ward in his class. He also gets to go three times a week. I have to admit having him ready to go to school by 8:30 in the morning is a little rough for me. We are totally a sleep in family, but we are definitely getting better at it.

Jackson LOVES his new teacher. I have never seen him so excited to learn. He gets in the car and talks my ear off for atleast 3 minutes telling me everything he did. I know 3 minutes doesn’t seem long but for him it is. At his last preschool he would hardly tell us what he did. So Paul and I are so excited that he is enjoying school and is enjoying learning. I am so glad that he got in her school and is loving it!! ( I can’t believe he will be starting Kindergarten next year. When I think of my baby going to that big school, it is overwhelming!) I love how excited he gets, and how he looks marching up to the door with his backpack on. Jackson also loves to give me a big kiss as he leaves, and then yells, “I will have fun Mommy. See you soon. Love you.” Kids are seriously the best.

Eli is still adjusing to Jackson being gone again. I think he got really attached to his brother this summer and especially while we were one our cruise, for the first 20 minutes he is gone, he is asking me, “where jack jack go?” I keep reminding him school, and he gets excited when it is time to pick him up. I love that these two are getting closer and are starting their relationship.
