Kindergarten Field Trip

Every year the kindergarten kids get to go on a Field Trip to the Zoo. I think their favorite part is the fact that they get to ride a bus. The smiles and giggles on the bus were so cute. My sweet neighbor watched Eli and Dylan so that I could go all day on the field trip with Jackson. I had so much fun spending time with him. We walked around the zoo with some of our friends, and had fun admiring the baby elephant, the bird show, all the other animals and their favorite, the snakes. It was such a fun day!

Baseball

For the past two months we have been living at Butterfield Park for baseball. We have had games 4 nights a week. 2 games for Eli and 2 games for Jackson a week. It has been a fun season. Eli has been playing T Ball again and we probably should have had him play up a level, but he had fun and has become a great hitter. Jackson has been playing machine pitch and he almost always has a great hit!! Jackson has had such a good time playing the game on a deeper level. We can’t wait for baseball season next year!

Memorial Day

For Memorial Day we went with Paul’s mom to the cemetery and visited Paul’s dad’s, his grandpa and grandma’s graves. It was nice to go on Memorial Day and to see all the nice flowers being brought to loved ones. We sure miss Grandpa Ed and Great Grandpa Red!!

Eli Graduates from Preschool

So my Eli guy finished up his first year of preschool a few weeks ago! He has the best preschool teacher, Miss Denise. She is so great with kids and makes the kids love learning. Eli has had such a good time going to class. He is excited to go again next year to the 3 day a week preschool. We sure love preschool!

Eli’s Birthday Video

When opening presents at his family birthday party Jackson and I wrapped his present 3 times so it took him a long time to open it. That’s why he was saying “You wrapped it three times!.”

All day he was trying to get Jackson and I to tell him what we got him, so we finally told him it was cookies. That explains his surprise when he opens it, “it’s not cookies!”

Visit with Great Grandpa

Monday my cousin and I went to visit our Grandpa. We brought all of our kids and my Grandpa sure had fun seeing them. Here is my Grandpa with 5 of his great grandchildren. He LOVES his posterity and is so proud of all of us. It’s usually all he talks about!

Daddy Donuts and Shining Star

Last week Jackson’s class had Daddy donut day! Jackson was soo excited! He had been counting down the days for about 2 weeks for this event. He even woke up early that day and he never does that. They both came home saying that they had a blast!!

Jackson also got to be the shining star in his class. He had fun making his poster with his dad. He wanted me to be the one to come to his class and talk about him. He also wanted me to bring Eli which I thought was cute. So Eli and I went to his class and talked about Jackson. My favorite part however was that after I got done talking, the teacher has the kids tell Jackson what they liked about him. The kids said some cute things about Jackson and he really liked hearing what his friends say about him. I really have enjoyed Jackson’s kindergarten teacher.
