On St. Patricks day, our neighbors called us to let us know they had extra Jazz tickets for the game that night and wondered if we wanted them. Of course we did! So we all went including Dylan. It was so much fun. The kids had a blast, and so did Dylan. He loved all the lights and action. I am glad that they hand out earplugs. I think that is why Dylan did so well. He even fell asleep in the 3rd quarter. The boys had fun. They love cheering defense, and cheering with the crowd. What a fun family night out!
In February we started indoor soccer with the boys. It has been fantastic! The games are on Saturdays and last for 7 weeks, so we are nearing the end of the season. The boys have been doing so well. Eli’s team is so cute. A bunch of 3-4 year olds chasing a ball around. Eli has managed to score a goal at almost every game. When he scores he does a cute little dance. It is adorable. Jackson has been playing on a team with some kids who really know what they are doing. Because of this, Jackson has really been learning soccer. He is learning how to pass, set up scores, and how to stop a ball and turn it in the other direction. Jackson has also scored quite a few goals. I am so proud of my little soccer dudes, they have done their best and had a blast. That is all I wanted for them.
Last Friday, Jackson had his Valentines day party at school. He woke up telling me this was going to be the best day ever! I love how kids get excited over the littlest things. When I picked him up from school he was carrying this huge heart full of valentines and candy. I think the expression on his face says it all!
Wow I can’t believe how fast time flies. Dylan is now 4 months old. I took him in for his check up the other day and he is in the 70th percentile for height and 40th percentile for weight. Checking how big his brothers were at this age, they are all about the same, except Eli weighed a little bit more.
Dylan is now rolling over. We can’t get him to stay on his back very long. He also loves to sit up so I am thinking he will have sitting up on his own mastered soon. He is such a sweet baby and he loves his brothers. He gets the biggest smiles when they come and talk to him. I am so glad for my family of boys!
Isn’t he just so cute?!
Jackson and Eli are back in school, and they both love it. Dylan is now 3 months old, and cooing and smiling like crazy. We have just been enjoying each other and everyday life. Here is our life lately in pics….
Rocking out playing RockBand New Years Eve. We played that and Wii Fit plus with the boys. They lasted until about 10:30.
Sunday before church. Wish Eli would open his eyes. This was the best picture we got. Church is now at 1 pm. While I like that we don’t have to rush to get everyone ready and to church on time, I don’t like being done at 4. Oh well, it’s just for one year.
Being held by brother!
This is a very common look in our house
The boys can’t get enough of their little brother
Big smile!!
We have been fighting being sick on our house for the past 2 weeks. It made Christmas probably not as much fun as it could have been but we still enjoyed it. Luckily we are finally on the mend. Here are some pictures from Christmas 2009 in the Mayne house.
Dylan’s first picture with Santa
Jackson and Eli with Santa. He came to the Hibler family Christmas party this year. The boys enjoyed seeing Santa.
Opening presents
Merry Christmas
Jackson got a fake shaving kit for Christmas, and he uses it everytime he takes a bath. It is soo cute!
Jazz game the day after Christmas
My Grandma and Dylan
Lately we’ve been enjoying Beatles Rock Band and Lego Rock Band. Eli seems to have a knack for the drums. It’s funny to hear the boys singing random songs from the Beatles catalog. Jackson can’t really read yet, but can sing at least 3 Beatles songs (Yellow Submarine, I Am The Walrus, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds), plus Beat It, and Ghostbusters.
Yesterday was Dylan’s baby blessing. It was wonderful! My whole immediate family was able to come for the weekend and it was great to see them, and to have them here for the blessing. Jamie’s mother in law made the cutest blessing outfit for Dylan. I absolutely loved it, and Dylan looked so adorable! It was a special day and we were so glad our families could be a part of it.
